Block Party Meeting Minutes

June 22

In attendance Marti Wheeler, Marina Kotsitis, Jane Warren, Loretta Malvin, Jennifer Lim, and Mary Jill and David Freed

1. Blimpies will let us use their bathrooms.

2. Flier was approved. Jennifer will E-mail it to Marti who will forward it on to

Cheryl Risner for printing.

3. Remind Brian to put a reminder on the web site July16, the Saturday before the party.

4. Marti will try to get $100 from her source.

5. Mary Jill will check with Vince about raffle items.

6. Mary Jill will E-mail John Mertz to ask if donations are tax deductible.

7. Marti will check to see if Marvin will let us use his water.

8. We will try to have the fire trucks park on the street.

9. Suellen will send out another E-mail to the jugglers.

10. The police department can’t attend. It is too close to the Neighborhood Night Out.

11. We decided not to put an announcement in the City Pulse. Jennifer will put a notice in her next newsletter.

12. We discussed making a banner to display at the Foster Center.

13. Jane will check with Quality Dairy about donating ice. She will also work on obtaining balloons for the balloon toss.

14. Suellen, Marti, and Dave volunteered coolers.

Dave and Jane have thermoses for drinks.

Marti and Dave have grills.
