Quality of Life Committee Meeting

July 11, 2006

In attendance: Jane Warren, Brian Barr, Suellen Hozman, Loretta Marvin, Marti Wheeler,

Sue Neff, Kerry Blackie, Dave Freed, and Mary Jill Freed

a. Discussion of flyer distribution: Kerry will pass out flyers on all streets north of Saginaw. Sue and Loretta will do Clemmons, Hayford and Magnolia, Marti and Mary Jill will do Kipling and streets east to Howard, Suellen will do Francis. Joan Nelson’s volunteers will cover the rest of the streets.

b. Jane passed out balloons to be filled with water.

c. Brian will design a flyer describing how the join our Yahoo list.

d. Food tables will be provided by Dave, Kerry, Marti, Sue, Jane, and Brian.

e. Loretta has table covers, scissors and tape.

f. Dave and Brian can provide grills. Jane will ask Brad about his grill.

g. Coolers will be provided by Suellen, Marti, Dave and Jane.

h. We will have a cooler of drinks (Coke etc.) for the firemen. Mary Jill will bring a thermos of iced tea. Jane will bring a thermos of water.

i. Kerry volunteered a donation for hot dogs. The Pawlik Law Group will donate $50. They will also loan us a canopy. Blimpies has agreed to allow us to use their restrooms. Mary Jill will make a poster thanking the above people.

j. Brian will take pictures to be posted on the website.

k. Jane will buy garbage bags.

l. The police and fire departments will send representatives.

m. Set up will be at 3:00 PM.

n. We will have a post picnic meeting at Gone Wired on August 1 at 7:00 PM.
