Resources currently available:

• Download Beta version of SALUS
  • Download SALUS program (29-Oct-2001) - a self-extracting zip file containing progarm files and sample data files
  • Download patches to SALUS (29-Nov-2001) - extract these files and replace existing files (probably in the C:\PROGRAM FILES\SALUS or C:\PROGRAM FILES\SALUS\DATA directories)
  • Download MDAC files - many or most first time users of SALUS will need to download and run this program to install database access tools to allow SALUS to run correctly
  • Download new version of Internet Explorer - To install the MDAC program your computer will require a fairly recent version of Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Release of first Beta version of Salus.

SALUS Status – 24 August 2001

From August 13 to August 23 we had a few scientists from outside the immediate SALUS development group run the program through its paces. As was to be expected, a number of problems were unearthed that had not been detected in internal testing. The majority of these problems were programming/interface mistakes with a smaller number of errors related to the science sections of the code.

We have a November target date to iron out these problems and to release a version on the web.
