There are currently two Nowlin Chair Professors to MSU:
Joan B. Rose is the Homer Nowlin chair of water in agricultural and natural resources systems. She is an international expert in water pollution microbiology, waterborne diseases and public health/public policy issues. She is a member of the faculty in the departments of Fisheries and Wildlife and of Crop and Soil Sciences. See Dr. Rose's home page
Christopher Peterson, professor of agricultural economics and an authority on value-added agricultural marketing, is the first holder of the Nowlin chair in consumer-responsive agriculture. See the Nowlin chair in consumer-responsive agriculture's website
