Peanut Sauce


From The Encyclopedia of Asian Food and Cooking

Combine in a small sauce pan:

2/3cup ground roasted unsalted peanuts
3tablespoons kecap manis
1 1/2tablespoons ground coriander
1/3teaspoons turmeric
3teaspoons garlic chili sauce
3/4cup thin coconut milk
2-3teaspoons brown sugar

Simmer 2-3 minutes. Cool. Add to taste:

salt
lemon juice
